Once a week, I get to spend the day at my Grammy’s house. It is so much fun because she lets me cook and bake in the kitchen. This week I asked if we could make a blog about my favorite breakfast at her house. I got the idea one day when I was helping my Grammy make brownies with swirls of peanut butter. Today I am making my Easy Chocolatey Peanut Butter Oatmeal.
So, do you ever wake up in the morning and you don’t know what to eat? Try my favorite Oatmeal.
You’ll need some quick one-minute oatmeal, peanut butter, vanilla, and cinnamon. And, of course, you will need your favorite snack-size chocolate candy bar. Today I picked a Kit Kat bar.
Ingredients for Easy Chocolatey Peanut Butter Oatmeal
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup oatmeal
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp peanut butter
- 1 snack-size chocolate candy bar
Instructions:
Bring water to a boil and add vanilla and cinnamon.
Then add your oatmeal.
And stir, stir, stir.
Next, add the peanut butter.
Then, scoop it into a bowl and snap me a piece of that Kit Kat bar.
Now it’s time to sit back, relax and enjoy my Easy Chocolatey Peanut Butter Oatmeal.
This recipe is for kids to make. But, it is so quick and easy that even Moms and Grammys can make it too.
